You should know where the information comes from.
Planning a future in Germany involves important decisions about qualifications, recognition, language, visas, employment and education. Germany Unlocked helps you navigate this information, but we don’t make official decisions for you.
We start with authoritative sources
Official information comes first
Germany Unlocked does not replace the authority responsible for your case.
When an important requirement is identified, we aim to show:
- Who provides the information
- Where the information comes from
- When it was checked
- What the source was used to verify
Requirements can change, particularly immigration rules, programme conditions, fees, financial requirements and application windows. Important information should therefore always be confirmed with the responsible authority before you act.
Germany Unlocked is not the decision-maker
Your pathway result is guidance, not an official determination that you qualify for a visa, immigration route, professional recognition, university admission or employment.
Our role is to help you understand:
Which pathways may be relevant to you, what appears to be missing, and what you should investigate next.
The final decision belongs to the responsible German or Philippine authority, employer, university or programme.
What about commercial services?
Germany Unlocked may help you discover useful services such as:
- German language schools
- German examination centers
- Recruitment agencies
- Training or funding opportunities
- Other services relevant to your pathway
These are not the same as official sources.
If a provider is commercial, we intend to make that clear. Commercial recommendations should never determine which pathway the roadmap recommends.
Our promise
We won’t pretend to know something we cannot verify. If information is missing, uncertain or needs confirmation, Germany Unlocked should tell you that rather than present a guess as a fact.
